Why have fees been deducted from my balance?

The following fees apply to your card, which are also found in our terms and conditions here.

Monthly Card Charge €1.45

There are 18 months from the date the card was purchased* to use the full balance on your card free of charge. After this period, first charged on the 19th month, a monthly charge of €1.45 will be deducted from your card until the balance reaches 0. This is to cover continued access to the card programme and any operational and processing charges.

*For digital reloadable cards, the 18 month charge free period starts again each time the card is reloaded.

Redemption Fee €8

If you wish to redeem the balance on your card, you may request that the funds be transferred into your nominated bank account for a fee of €8, charged per redemption, per card.

Card Replacement Fee €5

If you have requested a replacement for a lost or stolen card, a fee of €5 per card may apply.
